Founded in 2011 by Harvard Stanford alumni, Everest Education is an education startup known for the caliber of people, cutting edge curriculum and loving attention to teaching/learning methods to help prepare students academically and mentally for an international education. Everest Education offers Math and English enrichment courses, as well as tutoring to students from Grade 1 to Grade 12 using proprietary blended learning approach.
The startup seeks to solve the persistent “one size fits all” problem in the Vietnamese education system by providing personalized education for students with the customized materials at the right level of difficulty.
“We try to increase the level of personal attention and create the right interaction between students as well. They become teachers for each other, and practice other skills like soft skills and teamwork skills, in addition to learning the content, and they learn it twice as fast,” co-founder Tony Ngo explains.
Everest Education’s business potential for scalability is reinforced by recent successful fund raising of USD 4 million from international investors, led by Hong Kong-based investment firm Hendale Capital, Viet Capital Ventures and Southeast Asian-focused investor Nullabor.
